Twitter, or: I'm Not Falling for it

If all the people who notified me that they were now following me on Twitter were <I>actually</i> following me on Twitter, I'd have more than a dozen people following me on Twitter.

Does anyone know what that's about?

    Just speaking for myself: it was one of those neural internet things. I received a notice this morning that someone new is following me on Twitter. And among the other folks this new follower of mine is following, you are listed.

    I was still drinking my first cup of coffee when I discovered all of this, so I poked around a bit. During the course of things, I checked out your blog -- and discovered one of the most intelligent collections of writing that I've run across so far this year. It held my attention; I became so caught up in Em's adventures that I was 90 minutes late getting to work.

    I don't know why the other folks are following you -- but that's MY story, and I'm sticking to it.
